EZ
EZ (Easy-Z) is a software which allows to estimate redshifts for extragalactic objects.
It compares the observed spectrum with a set of (user given) spectral templates to find out the best value for the redshift. To accomplish this task, it uses a highly configurable set of algorithms
EZ is easily estendible with new algorithms. It is implemented as a set of C programs and a number of python classes. It can be used as a standalone program, or the python classes can be directly imported by other applications
